Langton School runs a House system, with the four houses named in memory of some of those from Langton who lost their lives in the Great War – Howard Vyse, Hill, Turner and Boyes. On entry to the school, each child is assigned a house (the same as an older sibling if applicable) and remains a member of this house throughout their years at Langton.

House points can be awarded by any member of staff for effort, attitude and achievement and for competitions run at various points during the year, e.g. Sports Day, quiz competitions, Maths challenges etc. The house system fosters good relationships between children in different year groups and encourages a sense of team work and working together.
