Ouse and Rye Bubble Class - Learning in school

Ouse class have been busy investigating and creating around their science topic of sound as well as working on their online maths challenges. The game of Twister wasn't just for fun either, there was an educational slant on today's game. Rye class as you can see are busy as ever and have completed some fantastic work about life at the poles as part of the Frozen Planet topic.

Year Six Bikeability

Well done to year 6 and thanks to their many instructors. They have braved sleet, rain, wind and slush to become safe and accomplished riders. They are now all aware of how to ride and conduct themselves on the roads.

Rye - War Time Baking

Rye class, with the help of our wonderful volunteer helpers, have been creating war time recipes. This time it was egg free sponge cakes as eggs were rationed from 1940 - 1947. The results were really rather tasty.

Rye Class At Indoor Athletics

Below are some action shots to show some of the different activities that were experienced on the day and a report that will give you an idea of what the children were up to. 


Athletics tournament

On Wednesday 23rd January Leon, Seth, Felix, Charlotte, Elias, Lottie, Josie, Sofia, Bella, Lola, Honor, Ella, Sophie, Robert, Niall, Daisy, Ellie, Thomas K, Hettie, Javan, Pippa and Jack went to the second round of the athletics tournament in Lady Lumley’s.

The hall was massive and had all sorts of activities set up like chest pass, long jump, vertical jump etc. We were all nervous as there were lots of other schools there and some of them were much bigger than us.
