Thank you to the family and Grandma who supplied us with some frogspawn. We added it to our miniature pond today. We also added our prayer stones around the edges; making an alliterative 'Prayer Pond', as remarked on by one child. A couple of the year one girls laso rematked, ' the eggs are spheres', showing great maths knowledge developing.
Some of us are a little worried about how many, how big and what will happen to the eggs, tadpoles and frogs but it is a fantastic learning opportunity that fits so well with our science and topic work. Watch this space for further developments .....
